Shasta Daisy : Leucanthemum ( Becky ) 1 Gallon

Large, four-inch pure snow white flowers perched on stiff stems that do not flop, make Becky ideal in the garden or for use as a cut flower. One of favorite perennials at the farm, Becky shines in the mixed border garden producing white, clean flowers starting in late July and continuing on through the first hard frosts of fall. Deep green, cut leaf foliage is highly disease resistant. Perennial Plant Of The Year. A sterile Shasta Daisy, Beck will not reseed in your garden but can be successfully propagated by division after in the ground for 2-3 years.

USE FOR: Plant in large containers, back of the border in perennial gardens, plant in mass for maximum impact. Deer resistant, attracts butterflies!

CULTURAL NOTES: Easy to grow, plant Shasta Daisies in well-drained soils with moderate fertility. Steer clear of Miracle-Gro, or other synthetic fertilizers, which are high in nitrogen that can cause plants to flop. Fertilize with slow release organic fertilizers such as Down to Earth All Purpose fertilizer. These tough perennial plants like it hot! For best results provide at least seven hours of direct sun.
