USDA Certified Organic Little Finger Carrot Seeds are a fast maturing gourmet baby carrot that is very sweet and crunchy. This baby gourmet carrot develops early rich orange color so you can pull them early and often. 3-4" carrots with deep orange color and sweet flavor. Perfect for eating raw, adding to salads or steaming. Carrots are unmatched for vitamin content and garden fresh sweetness. Perfect for early sales at Farmers Markets: Plant in fall and mulch for early sweet carrots! CULTURAL NOTES:Plant organic carrot seeds in the early spring as soon as the soil can be worked. Plant successive crops 2 weeks apart, and plant a crop in fall to mulch and overwinter for a delicious late winter or early spring treat.Carrots prefer light porous soil, especially the longer varieties. If you have rocky, tight clay soil consider growing your carrots in improved raised beds or in containers of organic potting soil. The results can be extremely gratifying!
