Petite perennial plant, Marcus produces sprays of dark blue flowers summer through fall. Ideal for use in container plantings or the perennial border, plant Marcus in groups of six or more plants for a band of dark-lavender blue flowers in the garden.

CULTURAL: Flowers on Salvia are long lasting and plants readily rebloom if deadheaded, or if sheared back after flowering. Once established, Salvia plants are drought tolerant. Avoid planting garden Sage in overly damp soil areas or where standing water is present. Provide consistent water the first season to establish a good root system. Shear back plants in the spring once new growth has started to emerge. Fertilize in the spring with a balanced organic slow-release fertilizer.
