A colorful, petite Hosta growing to only 10 inches high, Cherry Berry gets its name from the bright cherry red berries that are produced late summer after the lavender-blue flowers are finished blooming. Striking for the container garden or in the perennial bed, the elongated white leaves have moss-green margins that create a two-toned Hosta.

How to Grow Hosta: Easy to grow shade loving perennial plants, Hostas thrive in well-drained organic rich soil that is moist but not overly wet. Slugs and snails can be controlled by applying Sluggo Plus in the spring around the base of the plant. Check the size and variety of the Hosta before planting in ensure that sun exposure and planting area accommodate the variety. In the spring remove dead foliage and fertilize with a slow release organic fertilizer.
