About Ajo Rojo Hardneck garlic: Ajo Rojo is a Creole-type garlic with rich red clove wrappers and pure white bulb wrappers. The raw flavor is mild, but still wonderfully full-flavored. Harvest mid to late season, and the bulbs will store for 7-8 months. This garlic can tolerate high heat and drought better than other types. 8-12 cloves per bulb. May be used for cooking or planting.
