Thin, medium green leaves create a fountain of movement with this compact ornamental grass. Cute, compact bristle-like plumes appear in the summer. Pennisetum also known as Fountain Grass is a graceful, soft ornamental grasses prized for its showy plumes, which come in a variety of colors ranging from light tan to smoky-purple.

How to Grow Pennisetum: Plant in full sun, sandy, clay or well-drained garden soil. Drought tolerant once established, provide consistent water during the summer months for best results.
