Cornus sericea 'Kelseyi' ( Kelseyi Redosier Dogwood ) 1 Gallon

Compact, low growing hardy Dogwood with glossy green leaves in the summer and purple-red fall foliage. Slender red twigs in winter add interest and make for good bird habitat. Plant this dwarf Dogwood en masse along slopes, walkways, in raised beds or under trees.

CULTURAL: As with all Dogwood shrubs, gardeners can cut back hard every 2-3 years to maintain form and deep red twigs. Red Twig Dogwoods also offer great habitat for birds and wildlife. While Dogwoods are not deer resistant, we have found on the farm that they usually only receive a tip prune from passing deer that does not damage the shrub, but rather promotes new growth. This shrub is grown and shipped in a #1 Nursery Trade Gallon - 2.51 qt (liquid) (2.38 l).
