Achillea Coronation Gold is one of the largest yarrows. Large golden-yellow flowers 4" across above ferny light green foliage. Extremely hardy and xeric once established. Great for fresh cutflowers or dried for arrangements.
- CULTURAL NOTES: Plant with large ornamental grasses for effect. This is a large plant and may occasionally flop: avoid overhead watering and harvest for cutflowers often to maintain best form.
- NOMENCLATURE NOTES: 'Achillea' (named for Achilles, who supposedly learned of Yarrow's medicinal qualities from his mentor, Chiron the Centaur and used it to treat his men's wounds on the battlefield) and 'filipendulina' (Having Filipendula [Meadowsweet]-like leaves). 1 Gallon pot.
